Kris Beldin

A former Account Executive at Politis Communications, Kris Beldin currently handles social media initiatives for ARUP Laboratories. While at working with various agency clients at Politis Communications, he also directed new media initiatives through Mad Jolt Media. With a ‘can-do’ attitude, Kris regularly took on projects that forced him to grow and learn new skills; you might say he bit off more than he could chew, but in the end the projects always met or exceeded expectations. Not one to sit still, Kris has a great interest in new and emerging media technologies. A quintessential kid at heart, Kris probably worked with the agency’s most fun client in HobbyTron.com. Kris and his team flew mini helicopters and airplanes into media coverage in The New York Times, ESPN2, PC Magazine online and Late Night with David Letterman, as well as the local Utah media.

Prior to joining the Politis team, Kris interned with the City of Richland, Washington (home of the Richland High School Bombers) and the Global Management Center at BYU’s Marriott School of Business. Kris enjoys working for a good cause, and to this end has done work for several non-profit organizations, including The Arc of Tri-Cities and the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation’s Salt Lake Chapter.

Kris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in public relations from Brigham Young University (and it only took him six years). He lives in Midvale, Utah, with his better half and two cute, extremely active little kids.

If you want a funny story, ask Kris about his training to be a bobsledder in the 2002 Winter Olympics.
